What is your most Epic Self? That’s the question I try to answer everyday. How can I be physically, emotionally and spiritually in balance and happy? Today there are plenty of fad diets, workout videos that can’t keep your interest for more than a few weeks, and people telling you the only way to be spiritual is their way. All I have to say is SCREW IT! Quick fix’s don’t last. We must experiment, explore and discover what our unique body needs, and have the willingness to adapt as we age. The goal is to sculpt a lifestyle you can maintain that will have you dancing into your 90′s!

We all want to live long, rich lives and I hope this blog offers some tips and advice that you can use everyday to achieve just that. The main idea here is that the mind, body, and spirit are connected and equally important in ones health.

So who am I? My name is Amber Zuckswert and I am a professional modern/ballet dancer, the creator of Virtual Pilates, and a globe trotting environmentalist wrapped into one tall package.

Last year I launched a location independent lifestyle and taught my way around the wonderful land of Oz. I am currently back in my home base of San Francisco gearing up for my next jump to Europe.

Teaching pilates virtually through my online studio allows me the mobility to travel and teach what I love anywhere. What’s more, virtual pilates allows you the ability to do the same. I am a firm believer in living up every moment of life through cultivated mindfulness and throwing yourself into new experiences that challenge your personal growth. Now we can have our freedom and still get our mind/body workout in anytime anywhere.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from San Francisco State University, and am certified in Pilates through the renowned Ron Fletcher Program of Study. I am a complete health nut and have spent my life trying to figure out what supreme health really means to me. I like to mix a little of Eastern and Western holistic approaches when it comes to nutrition, exercise, and spirituality. My passion for developing my own epic health has me continually researching all that’s new (and old!) in the realm of wellness. I hope I can pass on some of my knowledge to make your life a little brighter.

I adore comments and hope to hear from each and everyone of you. Please don’t hesitate to send me an email with any inquires or comments. Of course you can easily connect with me on twitter and facebook as well. I hope to build a community of compassionate epic people who want to share their experiences and ideas on wellness with the world. Let’s learn from each other. Welcome to the family and thanks for reading!

Much peace and love,
