I recently met a guy staying at my current hostel who worked with kid soldiers in the Congo for two months. His stories were incredible! The perspective you gain while traveling..ahh can't beat it. I would really love to start working with some similar organizations. Working on the ground in the countries. Face to face is key for me...none of this raise money and then guess where it's going crap. @Faramarz- I heart google reader as well. I really need to organize mine a bit better, but it really does streamline all the great content I like to read everyday. I hope you do check out these great sites and enjoy them. It's hard to weed through and find the gems. @Diggy- ya the mini mac meal. I still don't think I'd eat it. @Cody- I did!
