Most Americans still believe you can’t get enough protein and nutrients from plants. It’s a damn shame. They don’t know they are missing out on the most bioavailable/easily absorbed, clean burning protein on Earth. Their loss, your gain. There is so much science to back up this statement it’s criminal.
Taking it a step beyond the plague of the protein myth, plants and more specifically superfoods, are so nutrient dense they will truly transform your human potential in the moment and beyond. What you thought was epic mind, body and spirit living can easily be taken to the next level when superfoods pack your plate and blender.
I’m always down to experiment with new superfood formulas and developed a new love affair with Synchro Genesis. An organic vegan superfood protein powder designed by buddy Graham Ryan, creator of Synchro Nutritionals. As a professional cyclist he took his athletic and mental performance to new heights by combining some of mother natures most potent superfoods. After a few months of sipping Synchro smoothies every morning pre and post dance training, I can personally attest to it’s power!

Come chill with us in my kitchen as we discuss maximizing energy, concentration and memory, accelerating muscle growth, fat loss and recover. We totally geek out on human potential and demo the most delicious raw chocolate, banana, berry smoothie.
Graham would like to offer a free bag of Synchro Genesis to one lucky Epic Self subscriber! Enter to win by…
1.) Subscribing to my free newsletter for more awesome giveaways and expert videos.
2.) Liking Epicself.com on Facebook. Synchro Nutritionals on Google +.
3.) Answering the following questions in the comments section below.
What would you do with your super human potential and energy after a Synchro smoothie? Dream big people! How are you going to shine your brightest? What actions are taking now to create your reality?
P.S I fell in love with these pics of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. They are by far the most powerful dancers I have ever witnessed. I recently learned at Green Festival New York and Chicago that many members of this world renowned company have found the power of raw vegan nutrition thanks to Karyn Calabrese, who I interviewed and can’t wait to share with you.
I’m choosing a winner on next Friday May 18th, 2012 by 8am. Best of luck to everyone and happy Friday!

I am currently working to build muscle and maintain a consistent running program. I have been following a training program for almost two months now so my super human energy would give me that extra edge to push through my workouts, lift heavier, and continue to work to be my best self. Not only would I continue to work on myself but with this super human power I would also finish my certification to be a personal trainer so I can bring this world of fantastic ness to others who would benefit from a world of whole, clean, foods of love. Seems like Synchro is that energizing push I need to get me to hit the books again and get on track with this. Share the love, right?
I currently eat pretty well, mostly vegan and definitely vegetarian but I find this is what Graham calls in the video, a standard vegan diet and it seems, after watching this video, that this is exactly what I have been looking for as far as that lacking piece to my life.
I am energized just listening to the video and would love to give this a try!
I am gonna check it out online rit now!
Sherrie! Fantastic. The standard vegan diet can easily be full of junk, nutritent devoid processed soy and rice products with just as many fillers as standard processed goods. I especially love the raw chocolate in synchro because it dilates blood vessels allowing the nutrients to absorb much easier. Thanks for entering
Hi amber….thanks for the feedback on my post. I looked for Synchro Genesis on Amazon and couldn’t find it. Is it not yet available there?
hmmm odd. it should be there. you can also go to his main website: http://synchro.co/
“What would you do with your super human potential and energy after a Synchro smoothie?”
I would get out into my garden and start pulling up dandelions to harvest (I eat the leaves, roots and yellow flowers) and then planting new plants in the holes I’ve created by pulling them up.
Or I might go out to the park and do some yoga with some friends. Possibly have a picnic.
I might start working on a new book, inventing a new recipe, or post a blog entry.
“How are you going to shine your brightest?”
I’m going to keep traveling the country each year and meeting new people. My husband and I will eventually film a documentary, found our own raw vegan commune, grow acres of permacultured wild/organic foods, aid thousands — millions — of people with their health, have twelve children, and achieve an incredible level of health.
“What actions are taking now to create your reality?”
I eat a low-fat high-vegetable raw vegan diet. I have a garden which I’m learning about wild plants, cultivated plants, and permaculture which I work on nearly daily. I attend raw potlucks and network with other raw vegans. I keep up with several raw vegan blogs and websites. I check out what Amber is up to because she’s awesome and I’d like to count her as a friend of mine (hint, lol!). I read books that educate and inspire me like The Hippocrates Diet, The Sunfood Success System and The Continuum Concept. I experiment with my own diet and reap the rewards when I come up with something that works well.
I write down my insights and I meditate on my dreams coming true.
I liked on facebook and followed on google+ and joined the newsletter. I’d be delighted to win.

Raederle!
It’s so lovely to hear from you beauty. How are things at the new home? Raw vegan community and permaculture farm sounds DIVINE. I know you’ll make it happen. Thank you for answering all of the questions so thoroughly. It’s important that we realize that our every moment decisions shape the future and you are well on your way to all your gigantic dreams. Thanks for checking in with all my endeavors. I’m watching your’s too!
A couple of friends of ours recently made the transition to ‘pescetarian’, which is a HUGE improvement for them, and I was happy to field the phone call of “I don’t know how to cook this way, Help!” One of the major concerns was protein, and I gently reminded them that everything that is living needs protein to exist, and therefore it is in everything we eat from nature already.
But back to Synchro….I am finally out of studying mode for the summer, so that super human energy I would get from Synchro would be assisting me in training to run, bike, and hike as much as I can with my free time! My ultimate goal is to be able to hike large portions of the Pacific Crest Trail, and run like a mustang up the hills around my home.
Catherine,
Sounds awesome. I’d love to hike large portions of the PCT as well. What are you studying in school? And yes, protein myth is everywhere. One at a time we can share our information to change the tide. Thanks for writing in and best of luck with your pescetarian buddies.
What would I do with super human potential and energy after a Synchro smoothie? I would run the longest marathon in the world, I would hike the highest mountain in the world, I would train harder to be in the best physical shape of my life. I am working hard to reach my goals lately! I have been inspired
I will be starting at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition on Monday, and I am very excited! I am excercising everyday, and always expanding my knowledge. I cannot get enough of the great outdoors either! There is so much I want to accomplish!
Tiffany! Rock on. Isn’t life incredible?! Every day we have the opportunity to set a new course, have more fun, create new adventures. I’m elated to hear you are beginning at the Institute. It’s a wonderful program and network. Thanks for your energy and passion!
What would I do with my super human potential? Actually I might take a slow walk by the water or meditate and breathe deeply. In order for me to be good to my soul I need to be good to my body. When I am calm, at peace and energized I am able to be more focused and present. This allows my wisdom to flow and rise to the surface.
Then, and only then am I able to do super human things like run my kids around to events and sports without being stressed or irritable.
Liane,
So true. Calm balanced energy is key. Too much yang energy is ungrounding and unproductive. That’s why I adore maca in this protein mix from Synchro. It balances your hormones and stress response. Thank you for taking such great care of your temple. You are an amazing example for your kids!
It’s Mother’s Day. It’s spring. It’s the end of another semester. As I let go of the challenges of the past several months by smelling the blooming peonies, feeling the sun on my skin, and love, love, loving on the two most beautifully inspiring daughters a mother could have, I renew my commitment to whole-life balance. I would nourish this commitment by using my renewed super-human potential to be the most present, most centered, most vibrant dissertation-writing, marathon-training, single mom that I can be. (And though I choose not to use social media, I’d use my mom power to spread the word about my “mother’s little helper” of choice!)
Brigitte,
A single mom of two, marathon-training super woman! I don’t know how mom’s do it all. Presence is one of the greatest gifts a high raw vegan and superfood packed diet can offer us. Do you currently eat superfoods? Which ones? Do the girls like them? Thanks so much for entering this contest. I don’t know how I will chose!
With all that I attempt to do in any given day, energy seems to be the most sacred. With this super human potential, I would wake up super early and go for a super long run so I could watch the sun rise from my favorite hiking spot. I would spend the rest of my energy enjoying the company of friends, dancing and cooking without the stress of a day without super-ness.
I will glow eternally after running 26.2 miles in the Marabana Havana. My first marathon in a country I thought I could never visit. I will be strong with support from loved ones and engage in a lifelong celebration of supreme health.
Each day I shine brighter by pushing my boundaries personally and testing my ability physically. I know that in order to accomplish the many challenges that I hope to achieve, I need to take appropriate action in my daily life. I continue to slowly integrate a raw vegan diet, run my own trails, practice yoga and embrace the emotions of failure and frustration as I push to improve. I incorporate dance and hooping to release a necessary amount of play and spend more time with those that encourage a positive energy.
Molly,
. I just took a hooping class today! It’s such a fun way to swing those hips and get a great core workout at the same time. Thanks for writing in and keep shining your most epic self.
Wow. I love your variety packed activities! Pushing self boundaries emotionally and physically is so rewarding. Your run in Havana sounds fabulous. You are already glowing
Hi Amber!
Super cool give~a~way, this is one that I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win.
So you want to know what I would do with my super~human strength?????????
I would push through those extra miles, pull off the extra shoulder reps, crank out more push~ups, slip in more crunches, sit with better posture, engage my core alllllll day, squat longer, jump higher, get in more meditating, drink more water, spend more quality time with my family (usually hiking or biking) & do it all with a super~human smile (with energy to boot!)
Can’t wait to try this stuff (if I win of course).
Good luck everyone!!!!
T
Tamara! hahaha I love your answer. “engage my core all day!” haha. It sounds like you have plenty of energy to burn all ready
. Thanks for writing in. You are a rock star!
I do not have google +, hope I am still eligible. You mentioned the giveaway was still open on twitter, last night the deadline said may 25th and today it was changed to the 18th. Hope it is not too late.
What would you do with your super human potential and energy after a Synchro smoothie?
I am not at optimum health right now. I would hope that the Synchro could get me from sub-optimal to just regular. I do not expect super humanness, I would be happy with just humanness. It may seem like a small dream to many, but to me right now being able to be free of pain and suffering, to walk normally, or to have enough energy to do things is a big dream. I try to shine my brightest by eating the best food I can afford. That is the action now I am taking that I think will help me in the long run.
Bitt- You are most definitely still eligible. You are the last entry in the giveaway. I wanted to contest to only last one week and I launched it last friday. I made an error with the date. Thanks for catching it!
I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling your best at the moment, but know that blue skies are ahead. You are on the right track by eating the most vibrant foods you can get your hands on. Breath work, walking and light stretching will do wonders as well. Sending you healing vibes!
Just thought I’d give a heads up… Synchro is doing an indiegogo campaign right now to try and get enough capital together to upgrade their production capacity. You can get some pretty great deals on Synchro by donating through their fundraising campaign.. http://vlt.me/.aysv (it’s a tracking link to see where traffic to the campaign is coming from). Check it out if you have a minute.
