We must honor and respect our bodies daily. But honoring and respecting our bodies through movement, nutrition, kind internal self dialogue, patience, compassion, and acceptance is easier said than done in our modern busy lives. If you struggle with this, you are not alone!
But these self care habits are literally the foundation of all other aspects of our lives. When there are cracks in the foundation, everything else starts to crumble and suffer.
We cannot give from empty cups. We cannot serve at the highest level if we first don’t take care of our basic needs.
Movement, healthy nourishment, and meditation are NOT luxuries. They are vital necessities that will make or break your ability to succeed in all the ways you desire most.
The relationship we have with our bodies will dictate all of our other relationships in life.
A lack of self love and confidence in our bodies is the root of a tremendous amount of our modern day suffering.
Self love begins with listening to your body’s needs and honoring them daily. It starts with prioritizing yourself for at least 1 hr per day where you can BE with yourself and focus on training your body in whatever ways you love.
During crazy stressful times, it’s even MORE important to double down on self care and honor your body in multiple ways. That’s when you need it most!
So, if you’ve fallen off the health/wellness train over the last few months…. this is your loving reminder to get back to taking the best care of you possible.
Your health, your family, your business, and your relationships with others all suffer when you don’t take care of you.
You deserve and are worthy of the love you so freely give others. It’s time to turn that love inward.
