It’s that dreaded time of year again. Say goodbye to the beach day keg parties and sleeping under the stars on week long camping trips…tear…sniff, sniff. Summer has come to a close and it’s back to school for all the kiddies and of course those work hard and play harder college students. It’s time to crack down peeps! Check out some chic back to school eco-supplies!

This is the second year in a row that I have sadly missed the school supply shopping spree. I’m kind of an organization freak.

Whether you are stoked to get back to studying (because you’ll graduate faster!) or you dread the first boring lecture of the year, you’ll need some goodies. Since you have to buy, why not take it a step further and green it up with these stylish finds:

eco binder terracycle
TerraCycle Eco Binder: Though not the most exciting flashy binder of all time, this vital paper holder is made of 100% recycled paper and 90% recycled steel. The highest percentage on the market! Add some personal flare with stickers or bright fabric.

Sukie Rescued Paper Notebook: Look at you, you style maven! Killer look with an even cooler way of recycling. These books are made entirely from disgarded paper which has been collected and assembled by hand in India. Papers are folded and bound in a direct form of recycling which enables the owner to write on the reverse of the printed pages. The books come in three sizes and a variety of colors ($9.50 per book).
Don’t want to spend an arm and leg on an eco notebook? Pick up an Earthbound notebook available at most office stores.
Bungalow 360 Bag: Tote your notebooks, calendar, water bottle, and snacks in one of these adorable canvas shoulder bags. Big enough for your laptop too. Reuse, reuse, resuse. What’s more, the tree bag doubles as a grocery bag!

Lunch Time Calls for More Fun Eco Options: Forget those pesky land-filling plastic bags and wrap your sandwich in pajamas. WhimsAli from Etsy, created washable, reusable sandwich wraps in loads of fun fabrics ($7.00 a pop).

Or pick up a bento box inspired stackable lunch box. Making it possible to carry soup, salad, and fruit at the same time while keeping the hot and cold items at the perfect temperatures.
That wasn’t so bad, was it? School shopping is way too much fun. I don’t even need any of this, but then again I could always use a notebook… for writing Epicself of course.
