When I started my business 11 years ago, I thought I could figure it all out on my own. I needed to work smarter, but I had no idea what that meant.
I had this delusional idea that if I just put in enough 18 hr days, hunched over my computer googling for answers, my dream business would magically appear in a few months.
It couldn’t be that hard to build a fulfilling, impactful, and financially abundant business, right?!
I couldn’t have been more wrong!
I needed a lot more than just social media marketing strategy, a website, and sales techniques.
What I needed most of all was a deep internal transformation. A shift that would help me shatter my limiting beliefs, boost my self-worth, and release the emotional baggage that weighed me down.
I also needed to ask for help from mentors who had already achieved what I was dreaming to do.
It was only when I finally admitted I couldn’t do it alone that I started making REAL progress.
As women entrepreneurs, we think we need to carry the entire load, wear all the hats, and have all the answers. Which of course, always ends in burn out.
As a recovering type-A workaholic and perfectionist, I know burn out VERY well. I’ve learned the hard way that business just doesn’t have to be this way.
You don’t have to work harder or longer to create your vision.
You don’t have to sacrifice everything else in your life, including your self-care, to run a business.
You must work SMARTER by learning from those who have overcome the challenges you now face while building your dream.
