As many of you may already know, JP Sears and I have been discussing pregnancy and bringing our very own little human into the world for a while now.
Before I met JP, I had zero desire to have a child. It’s amazing how things change when you meet your life partner! ❤️
Being Intentional With Our Pregnancy
Being highly intentional beings, JP and I wanted to make sure we were at optimal health for this journey so that we could create the best living and growing environment for our child.
So, we spent this week finishing up a bunch of in-depth health tests at Apeiron Center for Human Potential here in Austin to help us best prepare for conception and pregnancy.
We’ve undergone cognitive exams, fitness tests, a brain scan, genetic mapping, nutrition and lifestyle assessments, and multiple body composition scans to get the best snapshot of our health at this time.
The majority of the test results will be in soon, and the amazing team at Apeiron will map out the exact nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle shifts we need to make to ensure we are both in peak condition for conception.
Based on what we’ve learned about our stats so far, we are looking at a 3-month time window to get everything in check.
Why the Tests? Aren’t We Healthy Enough?
I’m beyond grateful we waited to get pregnant until we met with their team. I’m learning so much about what I need to be aware for my own health and the best development of our baby. It’s not about controlling how we bring a baby into the world, but it’s about doing everything we can to be intentional as we begin our pregnancy journey.
It’s all very exciting to say the least! I’m pumped to implement our new action plan and watch our health transformation over the next few months.
