MACAroons!  These little bites are chunks of heaven! It was hard to not eat the batter and actually get them to the dehydrator! The smell while you wait is almost unbearable. So incredibly good but even better when you bite into the chewy goodness of your first MACAroon.

 

With only 6 ingredients, these delicious sweet snacks are super easy to make and each ingredient is a nutrient dense powerhouse with the added benefits super foods. No refined sugar, no sweetener needed, the perfect treat that loves every cell in your body!

 

Ingredients (makes 15)
~ 2 cups shredded coconut
~ 4 bananas
~1/4 cup coconut oil
~ 1/4 cup raw cacao
~ 2 tbsp maca
~ 2 tbsp cinnamon

 

1~ Add everything but the shredded coconut into a food processor. Once combined into a paste add the shredded coconut. Do a quick blitz in the food processor to mix the coconut in but keep it chunky. The mixture will be like a batter but they should be able to hold their shape.
2~ Form into chunky balls and pop them on sheets in the dehydrator. ‘Bake’ overnight or for 12 hours in the dehydrator.
