NO MUD, NO LOTUS.

The journey of awakening isn’t meant to be easy.

For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come entirely undone. The shell cracks, the inside comes out, and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it may look like complete destruction

– Cynthia Occelli

A spiritual awakening, physical metamorphosis, and mental rewiring can look and feel like death.

Death of the ego and an old identity that no longer fits your expanding boundless spirit. The more we resist the shedding of our layers, the more intense the process can feel.

In this shift, you might lose friends, change jobs, divorce your partner, get sick, sell or lose your stuff, travel, or move house.

You might wake up one day and wonder who you are without all of these people, things, and paradigms that have molded and defined you.

It can be scary as hell.

But in the face of your fears and in that open space of mind and heart comes the opportunity. The chance to remember what matters most, release old self-destructive patterns, and recreate yourself from the ground up.

So you can stand in your vulnerability and express yourself authentically. So you can discover and experience what true fulfillment, peace, and joy feels like when you are living in alignment with your heart and souls purpose.

What a gift!

Transformation is uncomfortable, messy, exhilarating, and mysterious, but it’s worth every ounce of effort.

Don’t trick yourself into believing you are already evolved enough because the expansion never ends. This is a great trick the ego plays. There is no final destination, and there are always more layers to shed in your awakening.

So, trust and enjoy your unique process. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. Feel the feelings that arise. Let go and surrender to the metamorphosis. Remember, the universe always has your back.

Are you experiencing an inner transformation and awakening right now? Are you in the thick of the muck? I’d love to hear from you!

With love,
